Specialist Disability Accommodation

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) refers to accommodation for participants who require specialist housing solutions, to assist with the delivery of supports that cater for their extreme functional impairment and/or very high support needs.

SDA does not refer to the support services, but the homes in which these are delivered. More information on the SDA model is available on the NDIS website www.ndis.gov.au

Shared Supported Accommodation (SIL)

Specialist Independent Living funding is provided by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) on assessment of the applicants’ requirements. This funding will go towards support you require for daily tasks to live as independently as possible.

All our homes are brand new, single story and designed for easy access.

Respite/Short Term Accommodation

STA (Short term Accommodation) including Respite: are services included in NDIS when participants need to live out of home for a short period of time. Short term accommodation funding can be used for respite to support the participant and their careers. It gives the carer a short break from the carer role.

STA includes: personal care, accommodation, food and activities participants and providers agree to.

MTA (Medium term Accommodation): can support the participant if they needed a place to stay till their long-term housing is organised once the MTA funding finishes.
