Orion Communities

When you choose an Orion home, you’re joining more than just a place to live – you’re becoming part of a connected and supported community. Our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes are located across metro and regional cluster communities in South Australia and Victoria, designed to keep people close to what matters most: family, services, transport, and local life.

This page showcases our current vacancies, giving you real choice in where and how you want to live. Every Orion home is backed by a professional and caring team including a Community Manager, Team Leader, Clinical Lead, and Participant Advocate, ensuring wraparound support that is consistent, personal, and right where you need it.

What Makes Our Communities Different:

Every Orion Community Offers:

Onsite shared support is coordinated through our Clinical Lead, Community Manager, and Team Leader.

Community Support Workers (CSWs) report to the Team Leader or Community Manager at the beginning of each shift to ensure consistent handover, participant updates, and alignment with individual support plans. Clinical oversight is provided by the Clinical Lead, who works in collaboration with the team to support complex care needs, monitor clinical risk, and maintain high standards of care. Ongoing supervision, regular check-ins, and incident reporting protocols are in place to ensure safety, responsiveness, and continuous improvement across all shared support arrangements.

At Orion Care, we believe that a home should feel like just that – a home.

When we match housemates, our first priority is making sure everyone in the home feels safe, comfortable, and respected.

We take time to understand what matters most -your preferences, your support needs, your lifestyle, and the way you want to live. We look carefully at compatibility, safety, and shared values – not just filling spaces.

It’s also important to know that there are no extra costs to you if there are vacancies in your home. You only pay for the supports included in your NDIS plan, and that’s exactly how it should be.

We support NDIS participants across:

  • South Australia
  • Victoria

With thoughtful, personal touches throughout, our Evanston homes are designed to be warm, welcoming, and truly inspiring places to live.
Feel connected, respected, and empowered in a community where care meets comfort, and every day brings new opportunities.

Kim Seskis – Community Manager, North & North Central Adelaide

Kim leads our North & North Central communities with heart, focus, and a commitment to delivering exceptional support. Backed by Clinical Leads Kelly and Sharon, Kim oversees a diverse, multicultural team delivering both clinical and everyday supports with care, consistency, and genuine connection.

Our communities in the north are buzzing with life – and full of opportunity. Whether you’re into movies, gardening, dog therapy, arts and crafts, cooking, or board games (yes, even Dungeons & Dragons!), you’ll find a place where your interests are celebrated and your goals are supported.

Every home has its own tailored schedule of activities, and with cluster communities located close together, it’s easy to join in, make new friends, and feel part of something bigger. Many of our houses have strong cultural identities, including a vibrant Vietnamese community who come together around food, gardening, and shared experience – creating a unique sense of independence, culture, and belonging.

In the North, life is as active, connected, and meaningful as you want it to be – supported by a team that’s here for you, every step of the way.

Liz Lockhart – Community Manager, South & Central South Adelaide

Liz brings a unique blend of experience, energy, and genuine warmth to our South and Central South communities. Backed by Clinical Lead Dorcas, Liz leads a diverse, multicultural team committed to delivering high-quality care, building connections, and creating joyful, supportive homes.

In this region, it’s the small personal touches and special moments that make all the difference. Liz and her team go above and beyond to bring the community to life-whether that means organising beach walks, outings, or quiet afternoons spent baking together.

Some residents enjoy a slower pace and time to themselves, and we respect and support that. But for those who love connection, there are plenty of opportunities to socialise, get active, and build meaningful friendships.

In South and Central South, you’ll find more than just care-you’ll find community, comfort, and the freedom to live your life, your way.

The Orion Care Experience

At Orion Care, we believe support should feel like freedom-not limitation.

The Orion Care Experience is about more than services. It’s about creating spaces where you feel respected, supported, and truly at home. Whether you’re outgoing or quiet, independent or need more complex support, we tailor everything around you-your preferences, your passions, your pace.

You’ll be surrounded by people who listen, who notice the small things, and who show up with care and consistency. From the home you live in to the support you receive, we shape every detail to help you live the life you choose-whatever that looks like for you.

Because real care isn’t just about what we do. It’s about how we make you feel.
